It has been revealed by Sina that Luhan has filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to nullify his contract.
He filed his lawsuit through the Seoul District Court this morning.
The idol member has been suffering from various illnesses due to being overworked.
Fans speculated that Luhan would be leaving, and that he would give SM Entertainment until the 8th to make an official announcement, or he would.
This is just so crazy and unbelievable.
Kris had already left EXO back in May for various reasons, one being that he was being overworked and suffering too.
Luhan is said to be using the same lawyers who helped Kris file his lawsuit.
It’s just so unbelievable and tragic that now another member has left EXO-M. At this rate, both sub-units should just combine to form one whole team…
And with Luhan being the most popular Chinese member, there’s a chance that EXO will lose a huge number of fans soon.
With all of these idols leaving SMTOWN, SM Entertainment will have a tough time bouncing back.
We hope that Luhan will be able to recover well and find success in his individual activites, and we also hope that the remaining 10 EXO members will be strong enough to succeed with the loss of two members.
Luhan’s leaving, alongside Kris, will spell trouble for future Chinese trainees as well.
Many netizens have already voiced their concerns about Chinese idols gaining fame through SM Entertainment and then backstabbing the company for their own gain.
We know that’s not true in this situation and that SM Entertainment has most of the blame here.
We just hope that SM won’t be biased against Chinese trainees in the future, and that they will also give their idols their much needed rest.
